Legal notice
Who publishes this site, what it does with your data, and the plain fact that no payment is taken here.
Publisher
This website is published by Blue Meridian Ocean Trust, a registered marine conservation charity founded in 2011 and based in Marseille, France. The Trust works across the Mediterranean on seagrass restoration, ghost-net removal and community fishing agreements.

No payment on this site
The donation panel on this site lets you choose a one-off or monthly gift and shows what it would fund. It ends at a confirmation step. No card or bank details are asked for, and no payment is taken anywhere on this site.
Illustrations and figures
Every illustration on this site is drawn for the Trust; there are no photographs. The figures quoted — 640 hectares of seagrass replanted, 212 tonnes of nets removed, 14 active projects and 91% of every euro to the field — are the Trust's own.
Privacy
We collect as little as we can, and only to answer you.
The donation panel
Your choice of frequency and amount is worked out in your own browser. It is not stored and not sent anywhere, and nothing is kept once you leave the page.
The contact form
If you write to us, we ask for your name, your email address and your message. They are used to reply to you.
Cookies and fonts
The scripts on this site set no cookies and do no tracking. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. Write to us through the contact form and the team in Marseille will act on it.
Material still to come from the Trust
A legal notice for a site published in France must also give the publisher's postal address, its registration number, the name of the person responsible for publication and the name and address of the host. None of these were in the brief, so they are not shown rather than invented. They belong under “Publisher” once the Trust supplies them.
