Quality and certificates

A precision part is only as good as the proof of its dimensions. That is why certified quality management and 3D metrology are part of our production – not its final step.

  • DIN EN ISO 9001
  • EN 9100
  • Tolerances down to ±0.002 mm

Certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and EN 9100

DIN EN ISO 9001 sets out the requirements for a quality management system. EN 9100 builds on it and adds the requirements of the aerospace industry. Nordhaus Präzisionsteile is certified to both standards.

For you, this means defined, audited processes – from clarifying the order through machining and measurement to delivery.

3D metrology

Every relevant dimension is inspected in three dimensions.

Bore diameters, positions, distances and contours are probed in our own measuring room and compared with your drawing. Because the measuring room and the machines are under one roof, results go straight back to production.

That way a deviation is noticed on the first part – not at your company's goods-in inspection.

Tolerances down to ±0.002 mm

On a technical drawing, the rounded frame marks an inspection dimension – one that receives special inspection. That is how we treat every tolerance zone we accept:

±0.002 mm

  • ±0.002mm

Two thousandths of a millimetre – milled and turned alike, in titanium, stainless steel, aluminium and Inconel, from a single part to a batch of 5,000.
