Precision parts, milled and turned in Stuttgart-Feuerbach.

Since 1987, Nordhaus has been manufacturing components to your drawing: by 5-axis simultaneous milling, on the lathe, and inspected with 3D metrology. For aerospace, medical technology and mechanical engineering.

  • Contract manufacturing
  • Batch sizes 1–5,000

Four dimensions that speak for us

Not promises, but values you can measure.

  • ±0.002mm

Tolerances in contract manufacturing – milled and turned alike.

  • 1987

The year Nordhaus Präzisionsteile was founded.

  • 38

  • 1–5,000pcs

Batch sizes from a single part to series production.

Made to your drawing

Four processes under one roof – from the blank to the measured, documented precision part.

  • CNC milling

    5-axis simultaneous milling

Complex contours, free-form surfaces and angled bores in a single clamping. 5-axis simultaneous milling avoids re-clamping – and with it, sources of error between machining steps.

  • Turning

    Precision turned parts

Shafts, bushings, flanges and rotationally symmetrical parts – from a single prototype to series of up to 5,000 pieces.

  • 3D metrology

    Quality assurance

Every dimension that matters on the drawing is inspected in three dimensions. Measuring and machining happen in the same building – deviations are caught before a part leaves the plant.

  • Contract manufacturing

    Tolerances down to ±0.002 mm

You supply the drawing or 3D model; we machine, measure and deliver. For parts where a few thousandths of a millimetre decide between function and scrap.

Materials in section

On a drawing, you recognise the material by its hatching. In our shop, by the experience with which it is machined.

  • Titanium

    Light, strong and corrosion-resistant.

  • Stainless steel

    Rust-free and versatile.

  • Aluminium

    Light and easy to machine.

  • Inconel

    Nickel-based alloy, heat-resistant.

For industries where tolerances are not negotiable

Our customers design parts that fly, work in medical settings or keep machines running for years.

More about the industries →
  • Aerospace

Manufactured and documented to EN 9100 – the quality standard of the aerospace industry. In titanium, aluminium or Inconel.

  • Medical technology

Precision parts in titanium and stainless steel, in small batches or series, with 3D measurement of every relevant dimension.

  • Mechanical engineering

Functional parts, spare parts and assembly components – from a one-off to 5,000 parts per batch.

Measured before it becomes your dimension

On a drawing, the rounded frame marks an inspection dimension – one that receives special inspection. That is how we treat every tolerance zone we accept:
