What we expect
- Be respectful in talks, questions, corridors and online. Disagree with ideas, not with people.
- Make room. Let others finish, leave space at the front for those who need it, and invite newcomers into the conversation.
- Ask before you photograph or record someone, and respect a no.
- Look out for each other. If someone seems uncomfortable, check in or tell a member of the summit team.
What is not acceptable
- Harassment, intimidation or discrimination of any kind, including on the basis of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, age, ethnicity, nationality or religion.
- Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
- Sexualised or demeaning language and imagery, in talks, slides, stands or messages.
- Following, stalking, deliberate disruption of sessions, or recording people against their wishes.
Where it applies
Everywhere the summit happens: at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa on 14 and 15 May 2027, at any summit social gathering, and in every online space or message connected to the event.
How to report a concern
At the summit, speak to any member of the summit team. Before or after the event, or if you would rather write, use the contact form and choose “Code of conduct” as your topic. You can report something that happened to you or something you saw. You do not need proof, and you do not need to be certain a rule was broken.
What happens next
- We listen, take your report seriously and ask what you need to feel safe now.
- We keep your report confidential and share it only with the people who need it to act.
- We decide on a response. It can range from a warning to removal from the summit, and we may involve venue security or the police where safety requires it.
- We tell you what we have done, as far as we can.
